An exhibition, not an echo chamber.
Most galleries ask you to admire from a distance. Arrt asks you to get involved. We curate shows that pair striking new work from emerging artists with pieces from names you may already know — so every visit gives you something familiar to hold onto and something unfamiliar to wrestle with.
The space itself does half the work. Rooms are lit and laid out so the art leads: quiet walls, generous gaps between pieces, and nowhere you're rushed along. Whether you've got ten minutes between errands or a whole afternoon, you'll leave having actually looked at something — not just walked past it.
Come alone, bring a friend who "doesn't really get art", or drag the person who thinks they've seen it all. Nobody needs a background in art history to walk through our doors. Curiosity is the only ticket.

Want to know more about a piece or the person who made it? Just ask. You'll get a straight answer from someone who knows the work — never a memorised speech.
